What's in my Trainers Toolbox

I've seen many of these blogs around the web, and I believe they are important for a number of reasons. I'm sure this list will change as I get into Graduate School, and build our Social Media program at work, but to make a long story short, here's my Trainers Toolbox:

Microsoft Word - Documentation

Powerpoint - Training Presentations and Rapid eLearning

Microsoft Excel - Graphs and Charts

Lectora - eLearning Development

Camtasia - Screencasts

SnagIt - Screen captures

Gimp - Graphic Design and Photo Editing

Microsoft Clip Art - Rapid eLearning Graphics

Blender - 3D Graphic Design and Animation

Fotolia.com - Professional Photos

Audacity - Audio Editing

Canon HV30 - Training Videos

Rode VideoMic - Audio Recording

WebEx - Webinars

LinkedIn - Social Networking

Twitter - Microblogging

Delicious - Social Bookmarking

Sony Movie Studio - Non-Linear Editor (Video Editing)

Ok, that's what's in my Trainers Toolbox, what's in yours?

  1. Hi Chester -

I also use LeaderGuide Pro - easy to make Leader (Facilitator)Guide and extract out material for Participant Guides and slides.

    Also use Captivate and clipart.com.

  2. I looked into LeaderGuide Pro. It looks like a good way to lay out a lesson plan.
